It costs a little but Gulches ORV park in Laurens is awesome. Should be within decent driving distance to you.

docmedpros 12-07-2012 10:07 AM

X2 on gulches, once i get my xj back up to trail status i'll be going there

Lowrange2 12-07-2012 10:48 AM

Have you guys been to Gulches?

Gulches, Durhamtown, Uwharrie, all the FS roads in Northern SC and Northern GA...

docmedpros 12-07-2012 11:50 AM

i went to gulches when i first purchased my xj but that was 6-7 years ago, planning on making another trip up that way summer 2013, I have to rebuild my xj, it's been abused more than it should've.

Lowrange2 12-07-2012 11:59 AM

lol, Gotcha. The park has changed A LOT since then. You'll enjoy it.

docmedpros 12-07-2012 12:03 PM

good to hear, haven't been able to touch my xj for the last 4 years between deployments and overseas PCS. so ready to get apart and working like a real jeep

Lowrange2 12-07-2012 12:03 PM

What's it need?

docmedpros 12-07-2012 12:24 PM

in short everything, but basic tune up, change all fluids lift, tires, bumpers, head panel and front side panels, a lot of love. luckily i'm able to afford it. saved a bunch of money from deployments so i could have a great trail rig. i'm literally rebuilding "Betty Sue" from the ground so i have a dependable and safe rig

Lowrange2 12-07-2012 12:26 PM

Cool, so it's not built at all now?

docmedpros 12-07-2012 12:32 PM

had a RC 3 aal with 31s but when i enlisted sold my whole set up to a good friend never thinking i would breath some life back into her, but long and behold here I am ready to have a very capable rig that the fam and use for camping/trail riding.

Cool, keep in touch. PM me when you're ready to do some wheeling.
