I may not make any sence here.....but oh well.
The parks and receration is about the most inexpensive way for the avereage family to have a good time. So, because the state can't afford to maintain it they shut it down. Like you said A1, we buy stuff near those parks. Gas, food, parts, etc. Now the state has taken away from the business owner who's livelyhood was providied by that park. Hmmm, don't we pay a sales tax here in california? Aren't part of those state sales tax? Don't we pay a state tax on gas? Well we don't go anywhere, we don't pay those taxes. So now, not only are our parks and recreation gone, but or roads are going to hell because we aren't paying some of those taxes. We need to find other things to entertain ourselfs, and our children. If we don't our kids can turn to other things, end up in jail, and cost the state mega $$$ in court costs, prison cost, police and probation costs, not to mention any damages that may have occured. For alot of people this isn't just our kids, and isn't done before they turn 18. It is life long. So, we have created the domino effect.....and the poor business owners. Well, they lost the American Dream.

Signed! Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know there was an online petition.
