Hello, My wife and I just moved up from Chesapeake and started doing some trail riding in the area. We have been drag racing Motorcycles and ProMods for a long time. I have not ever built a Cherokee before so any input would be great. We have a 97 XJ with a 4.0 LT i have 31's on it and am looking for a 3" lift on the cheep. Thanks for the help.

Bryan has done one or two projects on my Cherokee and I can vouch for his mechanic prowess. Great shop, great guy and a leader at the OCC off roaders club.

No custom work through the shop. The custom work I do is only a hobby thing and only on my own vehicles.

truck bolt-in type valve stems will solve your PCV hose connections!!

Gotcha. I looked in those but think a welded bung is what I want for the long term. I'll be giving you all a call as soon as I get these brackets made up for the rear soft lines and get the rear hard lines done. I'll bring it in to inspect the lines and replace the front hard lines.

On that note, does anyone know a shop that welds aluminum?

There's a forum member here out of Warrenton that was out with his buddy shovel/blowing snow. I want to again my highest thanks to these fellas for their excellent work!

On a different note for Bryan: will Warrenton Tire and Auto be able to cut some basic brackets from angle iron/aluminum? That's the only thing holding me back that I'm thinking I need to get done before I sent it in. This snow reminded me that I desperately need my old lady running again.

Thanks! I scored the bumper, front axle, and doors off a dead 94 XJ whose entire floor had turned to dust . Got a simple build thread going, will link it in sig for all to see shortly. Got 4wd working with aftermarket linkage. Now addressing rocker and cab corner rot with boxed steel. Then bed is coming off to clean and paint frame before I redo the exterior. Been a long slow grind, but it's mostly been time and not a lot of cash getting this thing in shape.
