Not really needing the extra hands. Lol. Just need somebody who knows how to do it because I've never pulled gears or installed them and a locker for that matter.

I don't know if the carrier needs pulled or not. Or if the gears will just swap over to the other carrier and locker too.

Pick up the august issue of 4Wheeler they walk you through how to install a lunchbox locker. As far as carriers go, if you are upgrading gears from OEM to anything over 3.73(?) you will need a new carrier for the d30

It's a rubber/plastic mix that bonds to any clean surface. No sanding is required. A good cleaning with alcohol is all you donfor prep work. Best part is it's removable so if I get tired of it, I can remove it and my wheels will look exactly like they did before I sprayed them. YouTube "dipyourcar" it's incredible.

They are 4:10 gears I believe. With a powertrax locker. They are already installed in a older Disco Dana 30 I have sitting in my shed. I wanna pull them out and install them in to my newer non disco dana 30. Will the carrier be able to swap too?

I'm not sure. Try looking up both axles on ringpinion.com or give them a call. People swear by Randy.
