I wish I could come down, but I can't get all my Jeep maintenance done in time without laying outta work and class. Plus I can only make one more trip this season since I'm going to the Gulches in December, post up some shots y'all get!!

For 5 bucks you'll get a pass with that date on it. You stick that on your rig somewhere visible, and you're good to go. No extra fees for passengers. I've seen plenty of people with pets too so I'm assuming it's fine. If you decide to camp you have 2 options. Either pay to stay in a campground or camp for free primitively on the side of the trail in a clearing, which is what I do. I just fold my back seat down

Heck its a national forest, if you want to chop down trees all you need is a permit haha. Dogs are def allowed. The best thing to do is just go to el dorado outpost in the morning, get your trail pass and map. Shoot me a text or give me a call sunday morning. 7049618101

Another suggestion, while you're at the outpost, get either a bacon egg and cheese biscuit, or a chicken biscuit from the little grill/deli thing in there, it's outta this world
