TTJ Uwharrie Trip April 8-10th

Triad Trail Junkies will be making our 2nd Trip to URE as a Club for the weekend of April 8-10th, 2011. We will be camping at the Uwharrie Stables, located about 1/4 mile from the Eldorado outpost, on the opposite side of 109.

There is a mud pit aswell as a bit of a race course, and a few other obstacles on the property that can be wheeled for a small fee ($5 a rig)

Camping costs $5 a person per day
Trail Passes for URE cost $7 per day
We will probably have some sort of dinner at camp for a small fee

Because the Uwharrie Stables are not National Forest land, we are legally allowed to have alcohol, which is definately a perk for camping on the property. We will set up a large fire and drink in the evening and sit around and have campfire bull****, probably some music, maybe even some drinking games.

Anyone is welcome to come, more information will be posted closer to the date, check out the link for the Facebook Event.

I should add, this will also be our April Meet and Greet for anyone interested.

Bump this up... New info.

We plan to wheel Saturday and Sunday, Saturday will probably be a light wheeling day to show some of the less experienced guys in the group the ropes, maybe a little bit of night wheeling. Sunday we will start the morning off with Daniel and go from there.

We will be doing some grilling Saturday evening, and if enough people are interested, we can buy a bunch of food and cook enough for everyone who wants to stop by or camp.
We will be having a few beer's around the fire in the evening and probably some guitar, maybe some banjo if 76GMC will grace us with his playing, and who knows what else.

Camping Costs $5 per person, per night, which we feel is a worthwhile expense to all be able to camp together.

If you have any questions PM me.

Thanks.

Just wanted to update this, been busy all weekend and generally for the last few weeks getting ready for this trip.

Camping Costs: (Per Night) $10 for drivers, $5 for passengers, there is some riding on the land where we camp, and it makes for great fun at night.

Uwharrie Cost: They did not increase the prices this year after all, so $5 for a day pass, $30 for season pass.

Food: Dinner will be $5 a person, and probably be grilled chicken breast and corn and beans, just at a guess. Will be served saturday evening at camp, probably 6-8 pm (hard to say for sure, **** happens)

If you would like to join us, or plan to eat, I need to know so we are prepared, and have enough food.

Thanks.
