Default Trusted mechanics in DC/NoVA area?

I'm looking to do some work on my cherokee on my own, but in the meantime I need a reliable and trustworthy mechanic to help me get her fixed up so I can get to work every day. Any recommendations in the MD area? I can go up to about 60-80 miles before I don't trust the oil pressure, so anywhere kinda close to DC or its neighborhoods would be awesome. Doesn't even have to be a shop, just someone who knows what they're doing and can get it done at a decent price in a reasonable time period. GOTTA GET TO WORK TO MAKE THAT MONEY TO PAY FOR THOSE PARTS

tural- what am I not trying to have done?! joking, mostly I think I need some transmission work done pretty soon, and lots of stuff over time that I don't have the tools/time/knowledge to do myself. you know any good shops in NoVA? I'm gonna try one in Beltsville, MD near where I live, but I'd love to have a couple of options you know?
xj- you're a mechanic already, sweet! lemme know if you have some spare time and want to look her over, if you can at least tell me what needs to be done that's the most important thing I need. I'll happily buy you a beer in return for the favor!

just to give you an idea, beltsville auto recyclers has five 4x4 auto trannies for $350. and bowie truck yard #2 has 6 of them for $250 a piece. most of them have under 100k miles. might help ya out if yours is toast.
bowie truck yard has a 2000 4.0 for $550 and a 98 for $700.
vince auto parts has a 96 with 92k miles for $650.
