Nice ride! If I could see it I would remember it.

I forgot to mention I met my wife out there. That was 24 years ago

Well I'm off work tomorrow but I have a honey do list a mile long unfortunately. We are kayaking/fishing on the James Saturday and running Potts Mountain on Sunday. Busy weekend.

Was your goat a convertible? I remember a primer grey convertible GTO that belonged to a guy named Kieth from Vinton. Were going back to the late 80's/early 90's though.

Glad that wasn't yours but I had to ask. Keith killed a mother/daughter with his goat running 100+ on Starkey road at 1am drunk. He t-boned them. He spent time in the pen. Real shame, it was the mothers b-day and they were headed out for ice cream to celebrate.

Well,we hit bobblet's gap today. The front side of the mountain was very rutted and we actually had to put it in 4lo to get out of one spot, the back side was really smooth and had a few big holes.I would dare say currently the front side is not stock friendly.

Decided to take broad run home,i was very dissapointed. The river is WAY down right now and most everything is dried up.

Only water left in the big creek bed.

I don't remember those rocks at Bobblets? Are they in one of the side play area's. If so, be careful, only the road is public. The land owners up there might get hostile

It was a right turn right after the bridge, over a little bank type deal which road up to the picnic tables that are right off the parkway turn off spot.

Yeah,it's pretty much an immediate right after going under the bridge. It takes you to where you used to be able to get on the trail from the parkway, they've since blocked that enterance with picnic tables and those rocks.
