Default New Tires (:

I just got these today via FedEx from TreadWright, recaps. This is a first for me, having retreaded tires. I hope to offer a fair review of these tires. First, working with the company was great. I changed my mind three times about what side wall to use and they had no problems with my indecisiveness. It took about three weeks to get them, my changes could have affected that though.
The tires that I ordered and received are on BFG AT KO sidewalls, are 31/10.50R15s and are called Guard Dog-M/T. Here are some pics of the tires on the porch. I will post before and after pics of my Cherokee when I get them mounted. Look for future posts reviewing noise, ride and off-road performance.

Ok, here are some before and after pics. I have driven around town a bit and there is tire whine from the larger lugs, but nothing over the top. The ride is as it was before, my 30s and these new 31s have the same 3 ply side wall.

The tires changed the whole look of your Jeep, It will wheel better too. I really like the "Potts Mountain Swoosh" on the pass side door

Thanks. It's got a 3inch aal and front coils plus two inches using shackles in the rear and spacers in the front. The measured lift is about four and three quarters.

Hey Jon. Me too, it gives the cherokee a little character.

Thanks Case. I think that I should have said "tire hum" instead of "whine", the sound is more of a hum than a whine. Thanks for the spell check. Tire wine doesn't sound very tasty.

Nice XJ! Definitely gonna subscribe to this thread, I'm very curious about these tires. I'm looking into the same size and everything. Would you know if all of them have 3 ply sidewalls?

Sweet looking tires. Interested in how they handle on the road, not that they're made for that sort of thing.

Nice choice. I went with the same tire and sidewall. Ordered mine on 4/5/12. Hoping to get them this week or next! Is one side of the sidewall white lettered and the other black? Or are they both black?

You can ask them to recap any tire/side-wall that you chose.
I've only driven around town, not out on the highway yet. Around town they feel great. I think that the sidewalls/tires are 2011s, not that old. These are the same make and model tire that I took off, only an inch bigger. So the ride should be about the same.
The sidewall lettering is white on one side and black on the other.

Okay so they aren't directional tires, you can flip the sides if you want?
