Need a axle shaft.

Hey I'm looking for a stock Dana 30 drivers side axle shaft, anyone got a line of where I can get one. I broke mine over the weekend and don't really want to put chromo in as I want to go 1 tons so don't see the need to spend that kind of money now.
Thanks,
Mike

Junkyard will be your best bet. Most people won't sell just the shafts anymore unfortunately as they can sell the hole housing for more $$

Now lets here how you broke that shaft...

I got to watch first hand. He was hill climbing at richlands. It was very wet with limited traction. So he hammered down pretty good to get it up and bounced it pretty hard at the top of the hill at the last rut. Next thing we heard was a loud ping noise. After he accomplished his hill climb and came back down we realized what the damage was. He then pulled the axle and finished the trail on three axles!! True trail rider!!! I wish I had a video of it. I know there's one floating around some where!!

Yes Brian with the Wrangler had one posted on their club FB site Surry county 4x4. You can hear it pop. I don't know how to download it to this site. I would have tried that other climb at the mud hole you pulled that FJ out of if i still have 4wd. Maybe with better tires I could hamade it in 3wd. Found some shafts on eBay but won't have them till next week and can't get to a JY till Friday so may just order them so I have it fixed. I just not sure i want to spend the money on chomos as I want to go 1tons.

I wouldn't, just replace it with a stock shaft. You can get a set of spares for under $100

Well I said F-it and bought a G2 replacement for the left side only as I didn't have the funds for a complete kit. should be here Friday so I should be able to make it this weekend to Richland.
