Hey guys just got orders to Norfolk, Va. wondering how the off road seen was out there and what clubs are in the area

 

Basically there is an active seen. There are no Legal wheeling unless you have writtten permision.


Tidewater fourwheelers
KMA offroad
virginia beach jeepers
Middle Penisula jeep association


Lots of quality clubs. I suggest you get in with one of them.. and they will learn you the area.

 

Hampton Roads Jeep Club is the largest.jeep specific.club overall. But active member wise its probably the same as kma. (at least on the Southside). There isn't any local wheeling unless you know somebody with some land, but there are a lot of jeeps around here. Xjs included!

 

Like PingPong and Red said, no legal wheeling spots unless you know someone. Closest we've got is Outer Banks 2 hours away, then George Washington National Forest area, Crozet, and Uwharrie about 3-4 hours away.

In Norfolk, definitely hit up HRJC as at least one of the clubs to join up with. Lots of good folks and we're always looking for more.

 

I dont want to argue with you about club size.. but I think Middle Penissula Might have you beat... we are a jeep specific club.. and open to any 4 wd drive jeep... But we are based In newportnews mostly now

 

Ill be there till feb 15th myself... Leave the day after xmas... let me know if any of yall get together... Or just wanna beer somewhere... Im down! No jeep though... Gonna have a focus or somethin probly... Lol

 

Yeah that's why I said at least on the Southside. Yall are a lot of gas to go and be a part of regularly.
