I'd prepare for a crowd. You've never been there before have you?

Yup, it's called Jocassee Gorges ORV park.

I haven't been there yet either.

You have to catch them when they're open.

They have a FB page that they post up on all the time.

Yup, I can't afford Gulches and the new place in the same weekend. I intend to get that way very soon tho.

We're looking forward to dialing in the new rig this weekend.

That's really the only bad thing about Gulches... It's small. It's only 88 acres.

BUT there's a ton of awesome trails packed into that 88 acres...

Yeah, I'll let ya know what trails are ok to do and which ones aren't.

Check out the trail map and trail descriptions and print the first timers form to go ahead and fill out before you go.

You'll want to stay off of rebel boulvard, ship wreck, and most of the rest of the III Black trails.

I think you'll be ok on the TNT rock garden. There's an easy route you can take.

You can do Palmetto Crossing pretty easy as well.

There's not any water crossings other than standing mud holes. and those are Deeeeeep.

Sounds like you'd enjoy the rides we went on last month.

We went to the mountains around Helen Ga and hit unmaintained FS roads. A bunch of river crossings and cool trails.

Don't worry, there will be plenty to do. Plenty to watch. I usually do a lot of watching this weekend myself. Plus, I'll have my pregnant wife with me... I won't be doing anything crazy.

...and it's pouring rain, the park is a mess and no one is going now.

Maybe we'll hit up the park tomorrow or next weekend.
