Cherokee Limited Transfer Case
Hello everyone,
I am about to buy a 1997 Grand Cherokee Limited, for a VERY good price. Only 113k, body is in great shape but the only issue driving it is the transfer case from my understanding. I was wondering how much that will run me or if anyone knows a junk yard that can help out. I am pretty good with cars, mostly imports (ha come on I grew up with the generation of Fast & Furious) anyways that phase is behind me now. Now I just want to have a nice riding SUV. Anyways is there anyone that might help install or help locate a used one? I'm in Fairfax, VA. I don't want to drive to far on it, since I don't know what will happen if I keep driving in a bad transfer case.

What t-case do you have? Basically it is no more then unbolting 6 bolts some t-case linkage, and driveshafts. If you were wiling to travel I could help for a small fee.
AT the Chesterfield pnp I just picked up a t-case for 168 and that was including core

Just an Update, I did end up buying the jeep. I must say I do love it, but I am concerned about the t-case. Hopefully this all works out, I really need this t-case
