Any must see's in the mountains?
Hey everyone. Im from florida and im heading on a roadtrip after christmas to the mountains. I know that we're staying near pigeon forge and then asheville. Is there anything up there that is really cool or somthing i should check out? Also, does anyone think that its going to snow?

Theres already a lil bit of snow up in Boone. You should try snowboarding or skiing if your interested in it. Im still trying to plan a trip with my friend to hit the slopes.

if you're going from pigeon forge to asheville, i'm guessing you're taking hwy 23 to i-40? If so, you'll pass Maggie Valley on hwy 23 which is where Cataloochee, a ski/snowboard resort is. If you want to go snow tubing, they have that right across the street (cataloochee.com has some info on tubeworld, i think it's called). It's not a huge hill but if it's for the little girl in the picture, she may enjoy it!
sucks that the blue ridge parkway is closed
i dont know of many other trails around here...sorry!
