I bought mine from advanced auto. But im sure auto zone, pepboys, or even the jeep dealer will cary them as well. Or just go to your local junk yard if you don't want to by new ones and find some that are still in good shape.

junk yard always has good parts. wel around here anyway. i got 2 zj trunk struts for $7. put one under my hood not i dont need the prop rod.
gonna go this weekend and get another set for my hatch. go for the zjs because they have heavier parts. which means the struts need to support more weight. therefore stronger

how much different in size are the zj's? is it the same fit as the xj trunk ones or will i have to make some adjustments? and one keeps the hood open pretty good?

Same here bout the winter time thing...I think its like cause there are compressed gases or there either oil in the shocks...right? an when they heat up they expand more than they do in the winter but, then again the oil thing would be wrong because it would get thinner therefore making the hatch more likely to close..anyways good luck man but, I want to say there the same just from seeing them before but, im not 100% certain..
