4th Annual CF OBX Run

It's that time of year again! CF's annual OBX trip is happening so be sure to sign up for items to bring. As always this is a family friendly event so bring the spouse and kids (even the furry ones). We do a potluck style lunch so whatever food item you bring, make sure to bring enough to share.

We'll need canopies, tables, grills, chairs, and of course....food.

Last year we teamed up with HRJC (Hampton Roads Jeep Club) and it went pretty well, so I figured we could do the same again this year. We'll head down from Chesepeake early (We left at 7am last year and it went pretty well IIRC) to try to avoid most of the traffic and turn up Rt 12 to Corolla. We can do some runs behind the dunes if anyone wants to.

Alright everybody, this is just about 4 weeks away, so item sign ups are kind of needed.

3 weeks to go, who's going and bringing what?

Yeah I wish I could go. After having the time off for the baby I'm locked into weekends because of stuff that happened while I was gone.

Ive always wanted to go to this and now since I live in chesapeake I should be able to! Im in a stock (for now) WJ, but im dying to go do something. So count me in!

Start signing up for stuff everyone! With HRJC in the mix we've got a couple canopies, a huge grill, 5lbs of NC pulled pork, a table, tater salad, pasta salad, brats (the ones you eat, not raise).

BYO drinks and chairs though!

What's the count looking like from hrjc? I know ill have one other vehicle with me possibly more.

Anything in particular that we need?

HRJC is at 49 (including me) so hopefully it'll be a good crowd. We're meeting at Sam's (on Battlefield in Chesepeake) at 7am and we'll caravan down. For those not doing the caravan, we should be at the Corolla gas station (just before the beach access) at about 9:15-9:30 if all goes well and traffic is smooth.

As for needed items we could use some more sides and desserts. Sign up folks, less than 2 weeks to go!

Trying to make it. But it's hard to leave the fun and empty beaches of Hatteras for the summer congestion up there on the beach.

A couple of us from Richmond are coming. We went with you guys last July and had a blast. I can bring some dessert items.
