If you want to ride out east on the turnpike, there's Rausch Creek, and there might be some stuff down near Morgantown, wv but my research hasn't gone that way yet

so all of these except for wellsville look like they are pay to get in places, thats a bummer, i do like the look of the jeepfest though out at nemacolin. most of the places i used to go to in WA state that had trails were free because they were on state forestry lands, we should get something like that going around here.

There used to be a SWPA forum site but it was shut down due to inactivity. Check out he Wheeling Westmoreland page on Facebook. Lots of people out by Windber/Pittsburgh area. There is a place called Creek Falls by Monroeville that's free but is controversial on legality depending on a couple things but many go.

I'm not a swpa local, so I couldn't tell you where the locals go to go ride in the woods, but DNCR doesn't like wheeling on state lands, nor does ANF like it either. Public land is treated way differently out here than out west (as you now see).

Out here, it's mostly know someone who has access to private land, or pay to play. You may want to check the MD page (I guess the one above isn't right):

Piney Mtn Road and Burkholder Road aren't that far from you. Whether they're bonafide 4x4 trails or just unmaintained roads is unclear to me.

Also, other clubs in the area:
