Don't let him fool you... She has hearing aides she can use.

Thank you, it wasn't nearly as bad as i thought it was going to be. readjusting the snorkel on the drivers side with the new fender was a total pita but we got it done and we ran all new hard lines for the brakes in the front.

Question, i need to find the emergency brake lever that goes inside of the drums for the e-brake, mine were missing when i bought it. This is the last missing piece i need to install the e-brake system, I can't seem to find anyone that makes them. Other than heading to a junkyard with a bunch of XJ's, anyone have any ideas where i could order one? I copied a link to the piece i need, but for the earlier XJ's, mine is a 98.

a 4 pack of Levante's overpriced beer to whoever can point me in the right direction and source two of them.
Thanks!

I just refreshed the drums as it was the cheapest way to get it legal.

I'm pretty certain I have them. I ll have to check for which axle it's for.

What I have is for Chrysler 8.25. Not Dana 35

ahh, i have the 9in drums, im not sure what brakes the 8.25 run.

I have a dana 44 from an older cherokee that im going to rebuilt, so IF i need to, i'll upgrade to disc brakes, I'm 98.37% sure the d35 and d44 brakes are interchangeable, i just need to confirm it 100%.
I still want to try the cheap route, if possible.

D44 use 10x 2.5" drums and stuff. Dana 35 use 10"x 1-3/4 or 9" version.

8.25 all are 9" drum

I'm gonna send ya a message

Non c-clip d35 and d44 are the same (from what I can gather) and c-clip d35 and 8.25 are the same (again from the info I've gathered) I know for certain my non c-clip d35 brakes did not fit the 8.25 I put in my Comanche, and for d44 people say using 8.8 disc brake backing plates are much easier than d35 disc brake backing plates. All that brake stuff would probably be better suited in another thread though.
