The North Atlantic "Introduce yourself" thread
Hi guys. I've always loved Jeep XJs and I finally bought my first one about a week ago. It's a red '99 XJ sport 4.0 4x4 4-speed auto. Mostly stock but has some suspension upgrades (not quite sure what they are yet), no lift that I can tell, nice looking 29" BFG A/T tires, and I believe it has a Dynomax exhaust system, all from a previous owner.
I'm in central NJ and wondering where people go off-roading.
Thanks!

Welcome. Yes Rausch is a great place to go but it's also a bit of a ride getting there. I can't help with central NJ being as I'm down south but maybe someone else can chime in.

Only place I know of in Central Jersey is a small strip under a bridge in front of the Manville Walmart. Theres a place up near Mahwah too that locals go to all the time. Otherwise it's best to take the trip to RC.
