Not lately. They hauled up massive concrete blocks to keep people tightly confined to the main roads. All the trails and side areas are blocked off

Sucks that this is becoming common, across all states

Legitimately actually starting on building the zj up....maybe, debating if ill even take it off-road after all said and done. I have no other hobbies besides being indecisive.

You and me both. I've spent my last 2-3 weeks of night shifts perusing Facebook marketplace and Craigslist, thinking about which ****heap project I'm gonna buy. I seriously considered flying to Boise for an old 390ci F250, but now I'm looking at V10 Ram 2500s that won't fit in my garage...

Meanwhile, my commuter and the YJ both desperately need tires, and the Jeep still isn't 4WD.

I just want something new to tinker with

Same here! Xj needs stiffeners to fix some frame rail damage - got those. Also have clearance to spend a large sum of money that will go towards a 3-link for the front that I'll be ordering soon.

Also...picked this up a few months ago. 2018 GC Limited Lux with SelectTerrain.

Nice purchase, my parents just got rid of their diesel summit wk2. They just didn't need it anymore, was super nice and extremely comfortable. I'm actually hoping to burn in my center stiffeners tomorrow, is it required to take all the factory undercoating off? I planned to just mock it up and trace with a sharpie where I need to grind for my stitch/plug welds.

If you dont want a fiery inferno I would take the undercoating off. Leave the factory primer coating underneath though - only remove that where you need to weld

And yes agreed. This WK2 is more comfortable and roomy than any SUV I've ever been in, even my buddy's new 4Runner TRD Pro. It drives beautifully.

I guess that makes sense lol, I've got some weldable primer for the inside of the stiffners as well. Excited to start, stiffners means I can get my 3link/4link crossmembers bolted/burned in. Went with the new iro rocklink kit.
