ok,,bear with me on this--along with his disco shop, Dukie is gonna have to build a tower and set up a base station for the cb- so he can rule the airwaves-n-the world from the comfort of his new digs!------oh and so i wont get ignored--here is a pic of the "Movin Rig":

Just FYI:
Only way to properly tune a CB is to be in a clearing with no trees, powerlines, or other vehicles around...

honestly, what I think happened with the previous owner is they bought an over-the-knuckle steering kit, but didn't install it that way - looking at it the easiest way to fix the steering issue would be to ream the knuckle hole out, and flip the tie rod to the top like it's supposed to be. You can use a reamer tool, or drill it out and tack in tapered sleeves. I can find a link to some if you want.

i got them from tirerack. They hum nice at speed, but not overly loud and annoying.
