maine and new hampshire trails
Anyone know some cool wheeling spots in Maine or NH worth wheeling at besides the normal old dirt roads?

??
I have the same problem i live in the augusta area and there are only a couple of trails and they are not the greatest i have heard that in the pittston area there are some trails and also i heard about an off road park in the lewiston auburn area. and a question where did you get your rig inspected? i Got hassled for having 235/75/15's on mine and obviously want to go bigger

I got it inspected the day I got it all stock in June then the day after that lifted it so I don't have to deal with that for a few months and ya most of the trails around here are boring haha

Hey what's up guys have you ever been to all wheels in Lewiston here's a link to their site check it out...

Check out ME4x4.org, too if you haven't already. Allwheels is pretty good, it's only $10 for the day and 400 acres with trails from mild to pretty tough. It's got mud, rocks and ledges. Tent sites are available.
Another place that shows promise is RMTP Rocky Mountain Terrain Park in Carthage. They have Diehard weekend that has tons of people there. Rick Pewe from Peterson's Offroad mag was there and rode with some of the guys in the club. Of course that was the day I decided to stay home and work around the house. :whistling2: John has an outdoor kitchen area, camping, and if you can make it to the top of the mountain, some beautiful views. I think he is $20/day. There's also Wicked Hills in China, but Jeff is struggling. We went there with a bunch of rigs and gave him a donation. I really liked some of the trails he has so I hope he can open. We also have a couple of places with private land access because we agreed to help clean the area up. We usually go to a Mt. on the 4th of July that overlooks a small pond. All around the pond is some pretty good fireworks. Lots of fun! That's all I got ! |

Congrats, man. I know what you mean, life seems to keep forging ahead. Just go on the site and register. You get 30 days to check things out, then if you decide you want to be part of the club, send in the $20/yr. dues.
We'll probably do some snow wheeling if you're interested in coming out in the cold. |
