I'm running High country A/T on mine which is also my DD and so far love em. Great in the snow and quiet on the road. They make them in the size your looking for too. My brother is running Good Year wrangler authoritys on his xj in 31s and loves them. Not as quiet but just as capable. Those are the only two tires I have experience with and both run good. I don't know if anyone else has any input among those tires or any others but thats my two cense worth.

Oh, absolutely. The club is really good at helping you if you want to try something (spotting) but there are also many bypasses if you don't; simply park it and watch. Either way, it'll be a kick in the pants.
