looking to wheel in md
does anybody know where some good trails to go wheeling in Maryland. Near westminster
|
None that are legal. The only place I know of that is legal in MD in Green Ridge in western MD and that is very mild wheeling. I am also new to the off-road scene, but that is all I have heard about that is legal here. Green ridge is about 115 miles from me and Rausch Creek Off Road Park in PA is 118 miles from me and is great wheeling for all skill levels. I just went there last weekend for the first time on a meet and greet wheeling trip through this site and had a great time. Hope that helps a little.

I went to Rausch last week for the first time and had a blast. I traveled 250 miles one way because there are no legal places to wheel where I live and it was worth it. I met IAN and FREEJEEP there along with a bunch of others. Looking forward to going back!! |
A few of us are going to green ridge Friday around 5pm if you all wanna go. Planning to go to Rausch creek soon too. 3015828229, names Doug. I have a cousin that lives in Westminster with a jeep lol.

MoCo. I also have some good wheeling news! I have some family property in western MD (near frostburrg bout 1:45 from frederick.) About 500 acres. Any way i have recently been given premisson to make a Jeep trail on it!!!! The only catch is i live to far away to be able to go there often enough to work on it so it will be a while before it is operational. Prolly be operational about late spring to early summer. There are existing motorcycle and ATV trails that i can not butcher (I ride them too.) So if people would help i would aprecitate it. I will post dates i plan on going up there to specifically work on the trail at a later date. any one who can help i would enjoy it!
