Anything new with every one here? Finally got the jeep back from the shop after two months of sitting.

Got new tires and wheels on! Also got death wobble so I can't even take it out :( I am hoping to get it ready for a trip in PA by the end of the year

Anyone on the SDJC page?

i'm in georgetown, i'm on the SDJC FB page, and the eastern shore jeep page, cant seem to get "in" with either group... being a disabled veteran makes the people who understand your sense of humor a small group, both groups mean well, but i can't understand why they try and do so much stuff for other organization outside of the county, and do nothing for their own?... i was always taught that you have to take care of your own before you help others.. guess my ideas and concerns lie in a different direction

I'm part of both groups. I actually work in Georgetown. Can you elaborate on what you mean about the groups? I have yet to see any donations or fundraisers being made by either to support other countries. Most recent event they did was Jeeps For Joy that supports the Ronald Mcdonald foundation for US children in need.

Small world of cherokees.. i live in g-town.. the sdjc crew seems more wanting to do things in kent and new castle, the build a bear events, havent seen them post up of doing anything in sussex even with the name of Southern delaware jeep club aside from a random meeting here or there... maybe its the irony of the name, never seen then doing anything or showing up at the college, they were invited multiple times to the VFW, no show of support, never seen any of them at a habitat for humanity build or any boyscout/girlscout event, nothing with the ace center in seaford...cant say as much for the laurel group, even liking and following the page i dont get much in the way of notifications... they look to be more just rock crawl/go mudding..nothing wrong with it, just always find out after the fact..when they post pictures... just got notice of the parades a week too late to join.. shrugs.. it is what it is..

That's a lot of the Wrangler lifestyle now sadly. That's why XJ owners are the best. We run our Jeeps, work on them, if you can like me fab parts, and don't just go to the mall. I like the club but not a whole lot of hard wheelers so not much to talk about depending on who im talking to. I don't mind the events in Kent but living in Sussex I don't feel like driving my Jeep up to New Castle.
My name is Mike Eisenberger on Facebook by the way if you guys want to add or message me
