Dover area here. Nothing really to go on in DE, at least that I know of. Just the beach, and wildlife management areas if you can catch one with the gate open. Bombay Hook is a nice scenic drive. There used to be some trails at the C&D canal but I haven't been there in years.

Where is the C&D canal?? New to the area. Sounds like a nice Sunday afternoon trip.

New Castle County. It connects the DE and Chesapeake bays. Not sure if you can even wheel there anymore. Haven't been there in years

I'm up for a DE meet and greet if there is enough interest.

O K, looked up on the map, been across there a few times. Looks like there is activity there yet. Looking down from the bridge anyway. I'm going up that way Thursday morning, will try to find something out. May have to stop at Lums Pond park and inquire.

Just sent a note to DENERC to see if they can lead us in the right direction.

The place I used to go was off of the 1st road to the right after the Summit bridge if you are heading north.
