I'm headed out to Deep Creek Lake this weekend with some buddies because we got a house pretty inexpensive. I wanted to take my xj wheelin on Saturday or Sunday morning.

Anyone know of any trails out that way? Preferably something beginner in skill level, as I can count the number of times in one hand that I've taken the jeep off pavement, sadly.

I know some places down in WV when I went to school there.

Green Ridge is on the way there and not far from Deep Creek. It is definitely good for beginners.

Green Ridge is shut-down temporarily--they said till March--they cant access trails-trees down etc.--if you get into MDNR's website- i know there are several short 1-6 mile trails scattered about out that way--dont know if they are open or closed though!!

Thanks. I took a look and it looks like all the trails are closed 'til March. I guess I'll have to make another trip out here in April, and settle for Wisp for this trip.
