yeah, Rausch Creek is pretty much the only place to go unless you have a buddy with a lot of acres he uses for hunting. One of the coal mines opened up some of their properties for wheeling, but it's limited to a certain number of people and each person needs their own $100 yearly pass. http://www.readinganthracite.com/access-permits/ And, they don't have any maps...

hey im from easton too, but live in NJ now. i used to wheel up in windgap. take 33north to the windgap exit and take that main road up to 7th street on the left. it brings you to the power lines going up the mountain that you can see from the highway

about a mile 1/2 or so...pass the Mcdonalds on the left, the gas station on the right until you get to a more residential area. Its a small little road on the left which quickly turns into a stone road with woods on the right hand side. Then you hit the trail, its just muddy with some 1ft deep holes, then you get to the power line opening going up the mountain. Your not gonna flex alot but its fun. Its pretty accepted up there so i wouldnt worry about a ticket, i never got one

It would be nice to find something local....I have very little time on the weekends lately if I could hit a trail for a hour or two that would be nice. If you find anything let me know I will tag.
