Any Good Jeep mechanics in MA or NH ?

Hey All pretty new here and have learned a hell of a-lot about my Cherokee since i joined here

Ive been looking for a mechanic that works on the 4.0 as i cant seem to figure out the issue myself and I am pretty tired of throwing parts at my jeep lol.
Thanks!

Background: 2000 Cherokee, misfire and bouncing idle when stopped or in park. Codes returned where for multiple CYL misfire and CYL 6 misfire.

things I have done, Checked for vacuum leaks, Injectors, Plugs, Coils, IAC, TPS, CPS.

Locate and refresh all your grounds starting with the main negative battery cable. Don't just tighten connections, remove, clean and sand contact points until you see shiny metal. Living in NE I would recommend using anti-seize grease on all fasteners. In my older XJs there are also ground locations at the oil dipstick and an engine block ground at the firewall.

Sorry, can't recommend a mechanic. You should be able to diagnose just about any issue with the help of the good folks on this website, though. Just be methodical in your approach to solving a problem. Don't just fire the "parts cannon" at it. Start with the simple stuff.

Good luck.

You could try Elias 4wd in Townsend MA. elias4wdcenter.com

They specialize in drive-line/suspensions, but they're all Jeep guys and at least one mechanic on the staff has an XJ DD. If they can't figure it out they may be able to recommend someone nearby.
