I'm sure there isn't any legal spots. I'm looking for fun behind the wood/through the trail spots.

What is the legality of the sand dunes? That place is rad.

Does anyone have directions to the trails in Jennings forest? I hunt Jennings but I've never seen a wheeling trail.

This is my first post so I'll introduce myself.

-My name is Mark.
-I have a green 97 XJ with a 4.5" Rustys lift on 33" maxxis big horns.
-My mom bought the jeep brand new from that Caruso place by regency that closed. It now has 260,000 miles on it but it's in amazing shape, and runs strong.
-My other car is a 2002 Subaru WRX.
-I freakin hate mall crawlers.

I live in jax. The sand dunes are not legal. I met the owner one day he said if you get cought you can get a 500 fine. I live off alta and do not know of the dairy farms but I have been off grover. If its been raining that place you cant do much but Im sure when its not quit as wet its good.

I have been bored recently and was about to make a post here but saw this one. Let all do something. Dairy farm? Grover? This Sat I am going to auggie bog if anyone wants to meet up and go. Me and a buddy are going he has a F150 he trailers thats on 44's.
Let me know.

WOW that sucks about the sand dunes! I heard a rumor that the owner said it's ok as long as you stay off the developed areas... But I guess not haha.

I need to get some tow hooks before I do any mudding. My Jeep has nothing to pull with yet.

I'm down to meet up. Tomorrow might not be a good day for me, my jeep isn't acting right. But I hope to get it going by tomorrow afternoon if I can. Let's all figure out a good day to go out.

Im not sure they will enforce it but its just what he said to us. At first I heard it was ok to do it on the rt side too but then he told us that. He actually owns a jeep himself and drives it on there sometimes. Me and a buddy were climbing on that dirt hill in the middle there and he came up to us. He was pretty cool and didnt get us in trouble but told us about the cops and $500. Maybe it was more to keep us away. Im not sure.

I heard there's a REALLY gnarly trail on philips inbetween 95 and that regal theater... I've seen the entrance but never been down it.. Everyone that has told me it's deep mud and tight trails... And a ghettofab bridge.

You aren't supposed to go wheeling in the sand pits but the cops work mess with you unless you're drinkin, and the old guy with the cherokee doesnt own the property gate does the only peoples houses to avoid out there are the ones on the north end of the property because its the outlaws clubhouse for the Jacksonville chapter. But a really good spot that we went to last weekend was a place called the hideout off losco rd, its worth checking out.
