I am new to the xj world and I must say I caught the bug just wondering if there is any one out there from tampa area.

 

No Tampa XJ Jeepers.... I want to know where to wheel

 

I'll probably be avoiding any serious wheeling (2wd)...but I just picked up my first Jeep, and I've got a lot of plans for my street queen.

I'm in North Tampa (USF area)...and I'm always looking for anyone willing help tear down and rebuild!

 

I am in the Brandon area and almost done tearing the interior out. Finishing tomorrow and grinding the floor to bare metal and need someone who can help me weld lol

 

I've got a little experience with a MIG, and I'm getting ready to attempt a roof-rack...hopefully that'll jog my memory.

 

yea i need to weld in new floor pans so far i have one hole in my floor and havent gotten the pass seat out yet i will this sunday

 

In your area you've got -Dom- and a few others. I'm about 2 hours south of ya.

I'm in the brandon area too buddy and lately all the good holes have been being fenced off and closed up. I'm out of local spots, unless I want to drive an hour or two north or to Lakeland/Rancho...

 

Build thread is gone because that Jeep is now gone, sold it 2 days ago.

Nah I didn't. Everything in and on the Jeep went with it. The kid and his buddies really really liked it though, and not only is your vinyl in the back window, but I made sure to name drop!

 

Well if you get a new jeep make sure you put bumpers on the buy list lol
