Any rear main seal shortcuts I should know about? Track bar seems to be in the way, it doesn't want to droop down past the axel

Uhh...The REAR main is in the BACK of the engine. You're at the front of the engine so you sure you don't mean the Front seal? Lol

To replace the Rear main you have to remove the transmission. Now is the oil pan gasket what you're replacing? Sorry for the laugh earlier but it just caught me off guard.

I'm replacing the rear main seal without taking out the tranny, I've got the pan off the axel is just holding it up. But it doesn't want to go past the axel. In order for the pan to drop evenly so it can go past the axel I'd have to remove the track bar. Hmm maybe I just answered my own question? Lol it's cool man, I saw a YouTube video on it and he made it look easy. Just trying to figure out a way to drop the pan without taking the track bar off :/

Yeah I forgot they had that awful design. (No offense to anyone here) Kinda wish they would have kept the one piece design of the 258.

The front axle is sitting on jack stands but it'd make sense if I could take some of the weight off the axle, like lift the body away from the axle.
