I’m currently on this boat...
2 project trucks aren’t fun at all...well...when both break down wife gets mad when I borrow hers...
So one has to go and fixing up the xj to be good enough to sell...mj is staying as I’m planning to buy a house and I know I’ll need it for moving stuff or buying supplies for the house...

Comanche is down, I haven’t had the time to check out that bushings but there has been moments when both vehicles are down because of waiting for parts or just I couldn’t finish the job that night...and had to finish the next day after work...

Guess you never know what you might find lurking under your carpet! I was installing my JCR CB antenna mount and coax cable into my new to me '01 this weekend and found a small rust hole, I started picking at it and it got bigger (of course....lol) It's weird, it must have had a leak since new back there, the water sat under the seam sealer and rotted the metal away. I dont have a hole through the floor, just on the supporting metal that comes down and welds to the floor. It's odd to say the least, this has spent all it's life in FL and not on the beach, it has NO rust anywhere else except some surface rust on the roof since the clear coat is gone. I cleaned it all up with a wire brush, rust treatment and some paint for now. I sold my Hobart mig welder because I hated it, so it's gonna stay that way until I buy a new machine.

I think in gping to go with 33s. I got a list of crap i need to get for the jeep, but ive been riding my klr650 alot. And that thing needs parts too. Mostly tires and new rear shock. But saturday i tore the bike down to clean the carb, after friday after noon it left me stuck on 595 for a hour. It loaded up with fuel and boggedout. And took me a hour of trying to get it started. :/ im not shure if its a fuel tank issue or a petcock issue or the carb needs rebuilding. I put it back together, rode around in the naborhood testing it. I bogged down once sounded like it was getting to much fuel. Loats seems okey dont seem to be sticking, was pretty clean inside the bowl. Kinda stumped a little bit. It probaly don't help the petcock is vacume operated..... :[ i might put a gravity fed petcock on it. More reliable

Did you put a new needle or seat in it? Sounds like fuel may just be going past the needle. Usually you can get away with a new needle and take some "fine cut" paint cleaner on a q-tip and twist it into the seat to clean up the surface where the needle sits and seals. Usually does the trick......
