Hey y'all! Just got a 98 XJ sport a few months ago, been putting some work into it and should a lift should be the jeeps Christmas prez. So I'll be ready for a little light muddin (light because I still need to get some A/Ts) and trail ridding and the like. Really I'm jus itchin to get it a little dirity and put it in 4x4. Anywhere near Davie/broward area? I'm in west Davie so jumping on to 27 for a short jog north or south would be perfect. Thanks for any advice! Happy wheelin

Thanks every one. Can you tell me anything about what I expect and some directions? I'm still in the early stages of setting up my XJ, still have stock size tires, not A/T but pretty much brand new they were put on right before I bought it. Any chance I'll be able to have a fun weekend there or am I going to want to wait till I put on some A/Ts? I grew up in this area with ATVs and dirt bikes so I'm not new to Everglades wheelin just new to jeeps. Will I need a permit or anything like that? That was something we always needed with the quads. Thanks again an happy thinksgiving y'all!

As long as 4x4 is working condition theres a place for everyone to have fun. Its private land that we have permission to use. Recover points are needed though.

Ok cool...
I just placed my order for some 4.5" rubicon express coil springs...can't wait to get them in so I can get started in my lift. I'm still indecisive about doing a double shear track bar or just stick to the regular one

Double sheer and drop bracket get rid of the tre on other end and get the grand Cherokee tie rod from a v8 model makes a big difference ...

Longer lower control arms in the budget really help with caster going 4.5 or control arm drop bracket.
