Nope. The new "Hemis" are actually polyspherical motors just cosmetically made to look the part. Nothing today beats the raw power of an elephant or wedgie. I had a 413 Max Wedge in my 71 Dart GTS, loved the look on the Honda and Nissan kids faces when I could lift my front end off the ground and pass their 10k dollar turbo setup with a stocker. After all, what did they expect? That motor was banned from both NASCAR and NHRA and Richard Petty used it to break his speed records on various racetracks before they banned it. Thats when Chrysler knew how to build a motor.
