Go for 33's man. You'd be surprised how capable your rig will be. I had 33's on my '92 with 3.5" and about as much trimming as you've done. I put 4" bump stop exensions on the spring perches up front to keep the tires out of the fenders. Left me with plenty of articulation. I also had a 29 spline 8.25 w/ factory LSD in it that worked well in the sand and mud. Factory 3.55 gears too. Definitely could've used the upgrade to 4.10's, but it was fine on the flat roads here in florida. Could feel the little extra "grunt" you needed to give it when climbing though, that's for sure.

I agree ^^^

I ran 33" TSL radials on my '92 with a bastard lift on stock 3.55 gearing. It actually worked quite well.

I've been neglecting my MJ and spending all my free time on my boat.

Fishing sounds like more fun anyway...

Priority would be taking my boat out fishing if all this other crap didn't keep happening.

I tried replacing the carden bearing in my drive shaft but broke the yoke in the process so now it's $150 to rebuild the whole drive shaft, new u joints and all, but other than that I'm blessed! TGIF

It's just a toy to me now. Was my daily driver but, I realized that as fun as it is, it's not a family friendly vehicle. I nolonger have to cram the family into it to go anywhere and if it breaks again, I have a reliable vehicle to drive.

My ultimate goal I'd to put one (an Mj) sky high on one tons with a turbo'd straight six on tractor tires.... If only I could win the lotto lol but I'll gladly settle for my xj right now...

I'd like to have a MJ one of these days. I've always wanted one.
