I'll go ahead and mention it again. A bunch of guys are going to be at Gulches October 11th. There will be rigs from stock to heavily built so all are welcome. Just show up and look for all the XJ's.

Anyone going to gulches anytime soon? I have a few friends I've Been trying to go with (went with them once but now they just make excuses every time I mention it). I put a locker in the rear and I wanna test it out.

With all this rain Gulches will probably be closed down for a little while. Make sure you call Skip before you make the trip down.
I'd love to go as soon as this weather clears up.

That's the fun part.
Sometimes, if it's not too bad, Skip will let us local folks in even though he says he's closed. Just just doesn't want a huge crowd.

Anyone have any jeeping friends or jeep get togethers in the upstate around Greenville area? For such an offroad state doesn't seem to have that much jeep activity that I've seen. Also anyone know how to regear or know a good place to regear that doesn't cost an arm and leg. I think I want to go 3.55 to 4.56 but gotta find out what kind of prices to expect so I can save.

I'm in Belton bout 30min from both Anderson and Greenville. There are only a couple of places for free in my aera, but you can't act stupid they are for river access and not "wheeling" keep a rod in the rig and don't act a fool and you can have some good fun. Don't know of anyone that does gears for cheap. I helped my buddy do his WJ as long as you follow directions and check tolerances it's not all that bad. Soon as I get my sliders and rear bumper on I'd definitely be up for a gulches Trip.
