I'm in Greenville, there are the usual utility trails hidden here & there, and Gulches offroad park. Carver's mill in Spartanburg, but last I heard, that was closed until further notice. If you camp, head towards Burrell's ford towards Walhalla, there are some trails that lead to some nice camp sites.

Are any of you guys on NAXJA? The annual club ride is the first week in July in Harlan Kentucky. You should caravan up there with me. I'm right you the street from you guys.

I'm on there, but have trouble posting for some reason. I always get a permission error. i'll troll for info, but i hardly ever post. I'd like to get involved in some sort of local group/ club, but my schedule can vary, making it hard to plan more than about a week away.

NAXJA isn't exactly a local club but I love being a part of it. NAXJA actually makes an effort to keep public lands open rather than pocketing the registration monies. The state of SC currently has 4 NAXJA members. That's pretty pitiful. I always try to get people to join but they won't. They'd rather deal with non-contributing forums like this. If more people would actually join up there'd be a local group of NAXJA guys. This thread alone makes that clear.

Either way, if you want me to get your permissions problem fixed over on NAXJA I can more than likely make it happen. What's your screen name over there?

The ride in KY is going to be huge. 85 registered people so far. It's NAXJA's 15th Birthday party... definitely going to be worth the ride.
