My 4.2 isn't a stroker it came that way stock. AMC used the 258 (4.2) for a long time and the Wranglers didn't get the 4.0 as soon as the XJ. Mine is a 87, first year and has a bunch of AMC stuff even though it's technically a Chrystler product.

ohhh, i didnt think they made strokers stock, thats why it surprised me so much. didnt think of it having an AMC engine....actually saw a wrangler on craigslist last week
