Im about to b moving back into the nkorth atl area and this would b great cuz all i know of is summit and ive never had a great expierince there

My go to yard is Pull-A-Part (PAP) on Buford Hwy. for EVERYTHING!!!!!!! If they don't have it, I don't need it,period.Their prices are dirt cheap.They also have wheelbarrels to haul your stuff in. $1 to get in.
Example from recent outings;
-136 amp alt.-$14.??
-ZJ TR-$14.??
-After market fixed LCA's-$14.??
I also priced the ZJ disc brake conv. for the XJ;it was less than $100 for everything.I think the last time I got rear drums they were about $50,each.
Others;
-factory rear tire carrier $15.??
-aluminum wheel with a GOOD tire-$10.??
-Any door,hood or fender-$28.??
-gas tank skid plate-$20.??
-2 in. receiver hitch-$20.??
You get the point.
Just one WARNING about the Buford Hwy. location.Every time I have went there (several) it as always been extremely hot or freezing cold.NEVER comfortable.
Don't forget every tool you own,you will use ALL of them.

I wish we had prices like that here in Jacksonville, FL. The pick a part here charges way too much for stuff. I can get it on ebay for the same or cheaper half the time and do not need to sit out in the heat and remove the parts. I only go now if I have to.

The ones around here are average.
A&A is ok. Local only ok prices for some things outrageous prices for others (90 bucks for a stinking window regulator). Always picked over but no entrance fee and sometimes they give you the small stuff free.
LKQ I like a little bit better but still not the greatest. Not locally owned and every price is set in stone. Prices are ok and regulated with no outrageous prices but still not great prices. 2$ entrance fee. Very clean yard with all of the picked over cars removed so only the cars with parts left stay on the yard. They provide wheelbarrows but are sticklers on just about everything. Spent 150$ there the other day. I got a center console, headlight (for a minivan), two complete struts, 2 Hellas, 4 Tie downs from an Isuzu. Parts were 120 Dollars, but they had cores and the stupid environmental fee that cost me a grand total of 150 out the door.
