It can most definitely be a daily driver and I feel your excitement I was super happy when the ups guy came to my door with my RC 4.5 lift!

Don't forget to put the zone windshield sticker in, it helps the lift flex better. It did on mine..lol

Jeep in shop right now.....I got the drop pitman arm....the rugged ridge sye..new rough country driveshaft ..and adjustable track bar from rough country with frame bolt on bracket ...hopefully it will come together...going with 32 inch .....thanks for all the advice from the forum..Great people here...

4.5" is fine for a DD, what size tire do you plan on runnin? 31" or 32", it looks like the kit comes with pretty much what you need, you don't need a driveshaft unless you're installing an SYE at the same time. the kit does come with the transfer cased drop kit..

I'd recommend a SYE & new drive shaft (or XJ front drive shaft) as your next purchase and tires if you don't already have them.

At 4.5 you may need a drop pitman arm, & should really think about a double sheer track bar.

Good Start, and yes it is a START.... problem is you never, yes never get to the finish line when lifting a JEEP....

Default Zone 4.5 inch lift

99 XJ
4.5 inch zone lift full leafs/steering stabilizer with RC control arm drop kit and factory 2009 Wrangler Sahara 18 inch 255/70/18 (32 inch) with 1.5 spacer adapters and minor trim bottom of bumper. Built for my daughter for college. On list need to do Ares fabrication safari rack, Ares Evo front winch bumper and Ares nostalgic rear bumpers and Ares side steps to finish up.


Zone kit very happy with great ride looks great!
