another Newb okay who are you tell us about yourself WbarnHill...
Welcome to CF. |
Looks like they have done a ton of work since the last time I was there. If I can make, I'll most likely trailer it down there with a buddy and his tj. I just checked my schedule though it looks grim for making it. I have quite a bit of plans to move to make it. I'll keep up with this thread though.

Looks like i am out for that weekend. Too expensive. I usually go for one day and its 12 bucks a person. That weekend they want 30 a person.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Well I'm from SW Georgia, but have lived in Auburn for the past 3 or so years. I've been a regular out at the GAP for a while, so you might have seen me. I've always been out there in a FS Cherokee chief on tons and 42s, but I just sold it last week:cry:. One of those deals where you think it's a good idea at the time, but now that it's gone you miss it.
Anyway, I've also have a blue 88 chero on about 4in of lift and 33s that I'm wanting to build for ECORS. I'll probably be in it the weekend of the 25th if I can find some good used lower control arms ( adjustable would be best ). If any of you know of any in the area that would be great. On to the GAP. Yall are right, they've done a ton of work out there and there are 3 or 4 new obstacles. The 30 bucks is for sure higher than usual, but it's for the entire weekend plus two concerts, so I think it will be worth it. Sorry for the rambling and hopefully I'll see some you on the 25th. |

Let me guess, the green striped one with the slightly chopped fenders? |
I am sure the 30 is worth it for some. But i got three boys and only one day to wheel. So i will wait for a less busy weekend.
