if you live in a place like i do, they really could care less. i think its legal, best way to find out is to ask your local police department to look it up

i have ridden by many police and no one pulled me over, however a rookie cop from marietta city said that he didn't think that it was legal bc we don't have roll bars factory like wranglers but i think that is bs so i say go for it!

do you have the 97 up hinges? Bc my 97 had the 96 and down hinges. Everything works good, but you have to keep up with the door pins bc if you lose one. it will pop like crazy if the replacement piece isn't the exact thickness. Haha good luck. I would help out but i dont think i really have the time to do much for you, sorry man
