CF's SEC is going wheelin! October 09
Thats right we're going wheeling. I don't care what you bring or how built it is. We're going to a park where it dont matter.
No one on here seems to wheel together and Im changing that.
Lets look at the first of October and some where kinda close to the AL, TN, GA border. We have Mountainside, Grey Rock, Choccoloco Mtn, and Aetna. Any of these Im in for. Been to Mountainside and Aetna multiple times so I know my way around.
Post up if youre interested we'll pick from thise parks or another one if yall really want too. These parks kinda even out the drive for most except the NC guys but IDK of a place any further east that would be good for a range of vehicles.
Lets get some ideas together and a name and maybe make this a yearly event. Cookout, Camping, and Wheelin!

As long as we can set a date a few in advance, then I can do a few repairs and upgrades and find something new to break on the trail. I am willing to bet bigomudders will be posting up soon. He is itching like a crackhead to get a group together and go wheeling.

Good maybe me and him can plan something then.
I wanna do it in early October before deer season starts up down here.
Any of the parks I mentioned I'm in for. As long as yall are good with a date we can get it going. Need to make it a regular thing. I know we all love to wheel so why not together and rep the SE lol

I have our offroad club meeting on Oct. 10th, our monthly ride is on the 24th. So if its on the 3rd or the 17th I may be interested, but I can't do a weekday.
Never been to Mountainside, but its been on my list. Post up what y'all decide on.
FYI!!
Mountainside is only open the first and third weekends of the month. So you will have to go the 3rd or 17th, both are still open rides according to their calander. Or go somewhere else if that doesn't work for you.

So that settles it. October 3rd in Gadsden, Al at Mountainside Off Road Park. Let's check to make sure they are open that weekend and start laying out the plans. We don't have much time to iron out the details. Bigomudders and myself will probably go down on Friday evening.

I am in. I just checked Uhaul and their trucks are $20 a day plus $0.49 per mile so it will end up being about $100 total. Definately worth it seeing as how the Heep has 240k on the clock and I dont know that I trust it all the way there and back.
Where is everyone coming from? I'm in Montgomery AL.
I am assuming this will be a family friendly event? I plan on bringing the wife.

Hey firstxj the way uhauls are maintained you might be towing it back LMAO. and yes my girlfriend will be coming to that gives me plenty of time to get hers lifted.
