Anyone in the Knoxville area?

Is there any places that do OEM or REPRO parts other than JEEP (if they even do it)?

@95whiteXJ: Well it's not the alternator, or anything really. It's not had a battery hold-down since we bought it from the PO. The POS battery terminal finally wore a hole in the hood insulation and caused a short. Just need to get a hold-down. A lot better than an alternator.
BTW... Fishing the Douglas Dam trailwaters last night turned out good. The Crappie and Trout were hitting pretty good off medium minnows.

Yeah we just got back again... No keepers tonight, but our lines were still busy (carp, small trout). I'm finding out when the waters are slower/lower, the fish bite harder. We need a boat
That Jeep's looking damn good. I'd like to do that with my fenders, but that's after the flares go bye-bye. I like that front header panel/grille assembly much better than mine. That's what I'm hoping to find at a junkyard.
I hope you track down your electrical issues and have fun with the top-chopping. I downloaded the FSM, and saw the listings for the fusible links, but no info on where they lead to, just how to replace them...

'Preciate it...we can do yours like mine til you take your flares off. I could probably hook you up with a header panel, grille, etc. Have to check and get back to you.
I'm headin in a couple hours to my uncle's...electrical trackin is gonna SUCK, but I'll make up for it with the chop!! Lol and what is this "FSM" you speak of? Lol I don't need to know what they control and where they go, bc where it sat for 2yrs, I'm gonna just replace them all....

FSM is the "Factory Service Manual" I have it bookmarked somewhere... Oh no it's not bookmarked. I have a wedding to get to, but I'll find them again and hook you up with a PM.
Right on about the parts. Get back to me when you hear about them.

Right on! I can't wait to see what it looks like.
I'm ready to pick up them parts whenever.
I do believe we're going out to the end of Allensville road today for some fishing and mud play. You're welcome to bring the family out and join us. I'll give you a call before we head out and see what's up.
