Advice please?
I've got a 99 jeep Cherokee sport xj 2wd and I've recently put 22 inche wheels on it should I do anything to the suspension, brakes or rear end?

Oh no, you can't put 22" rims on an XJ. The vehicle's integrity will be compromised. You'll need to return to a more reasonable rim size, 15", 16" or 17".

Well, if I were you I'd give it an 8" lift get some full width 1 ton axles under it and 40" tires. Otherwise 22s are simply much too large. (At least for the people on this forum, or for any Jeep purist for that matter)

8" of lift??? That's crazy. You need way more

8" of suspension lift with another 4" in pucks and shackles. Plus trimming fenders.

In all seriousness, 22s on a cherokee..... Well they weren't designed for anything near that big. If you are on stock suspension, you might want to think about a little lift. Those are probably wide too. You may rub on things like lower control arms, fenders, etc. None of us on here recommend that big of a wheel, but do what you want. Its your jeep
