Also I started a Cause page? idk what its called, But its non-profit and its to help unfortunate kids in the area. Well this is easier its on the page itself.

We are a new Legal Offroading club in Ohio and want to try to do our part to help the less fortunate. Mission:Create an event, to raise money to help the local kids in our area. Description:Our goal at XJOR Is to raise money by crushing a car with our Jeeps and other 4x4's to help out in our community. We will accept donations for us (XJOR) to crush it, along with allowing others to donate to be able to run it over in their own personal vehicles.

I will be looking to set up some sort of raffle, So I will be needed some companies to donate parts that will be raffled off. Ill also be getting some other smaller stuff to raffle off.

Our goal is to have this in late April or May. I will keep everyone posted as we make progress.

Also Please put the workd out for us, we want to inform as many people as possible.

Feedback please, also idea's? Think you can find some donations weather it be money or some 4x4 part to auction? Im thinking of talking to 4xheelparts to do this in there lot.

 

Yeah I think thats a great idea. I also wonder if 4WPs would be willing do donate a part or two.. Or maybe a Jeep dealership (not sure what they would contribute, but they like getting there name out there) or maybe even autozone or similar for smaller simplier things like cleaners, or oil change kits. Maybe a sears.craftsmen could donate a few little tool items, and maybe B's audio or similar could donate speakers or a deck? haha my mind is running wild now, but I am sure they are going to want some sort of paperwork proof.

Also after watching the social network last night, my mind started wandering, and started thinking about a website. Either xjor.com or xjoffroad.com, but I guess both were already taken, unless we went with .net and according to godaddy.com its only 12.99 a year. I haven't ever bought/started a website so I am not sure if that is legit or not?

 

HAHA Maybe, We will have to start getting a hold of companies to see if they will donate parts. Since we are non profit we can send money and it comes out of the total made. But not more then whats spent.

I figured I could find a car for 100$ some where. A nice honda or yota!

I even thought of a small local band or something.

 

Another company I thought of, would be Rustys, and maybe they or others would be willing to donate like $25 or $50 gift cards.

And a good band is always a plus, and I am sure we can find plenty of bands who would be happy to play for free.
But we should maybe plan it for late may early june to have another month of planning, and that should be sure to give us good weather!

Edit: Also found on Facebook that 4WPs is giving away a $500 giftcard this month to someone who likes there page and posts a picture and caption for why they should get it.
So I posted from my name and XJORs that it would make a great gift for our june meeting of Crush for Kids with all proceeds going to charity, and hopefully they will see its going to a good cause and that would make a great raffle gift!

 

We can move it back to june I guess. Nothing was set in cement yet anyways.

But I will be seeing if a couple charities I know will donate some money and we can get gift cards with those or buy some parts even. Also a couple restaurants, or other businesses.
