Yeah Gonna do black and maybe a red lip or something. They are TSL Thornbirds. awful review online. Id say 80% hate them, 20% love them.

Do you happen to have a tire groover? I heard they are close to unstoppable if they are grooved a little bit. Here are some pics.

I do not have a tire groover...
I actually think I have heard of them on here or maybe Jeepforum, with mixed reviews but I think you should be better then the old tires

Also I have an idea for whats causing the issue on the new XJ issues, a possible bad/stuck open injector. It make sense why it only happens sometimes, and everything else is fine, and also I think when driving the smoke was the worst at idle, but I couldn't really tell whats was going on behind me so I didn't notice...
Good thing the old motor full rail and injectors were left in the back of it

Wouldnt your plug be dirty if you had a stuck injector?

Put some of that stuff that removes water from your gas in with your fuel. In case its the water problem.

But IMHO I think its the head gasket. :\ I dont wanna tell you that anymore then you wanna hear it but it just might be.

Haha it is ironic that they were left in there and I got them all swapped out and it did cut the smoke down a little. I actually only checked one of the plugs so it was probably a good injector. After running it for about 30 mins just in the driveway and around the block everything still checked out and fluids were still all good but I heard a slight whistle, and found a vacuum line going to the main canister/resevior just stopped and the resevior/black plastic ball under the bumper missing..
Which explains my heat controls not working and causing the engine to run rich from dumping fuel..
So I hope when I can find a new vacuum ball and get the line fixed, that should do it!

Yeah I was going to go to the Cleveland West pull-a-part but checked what a dealership cost was, and there comp was down but he thought it was like $12. So I am going to call tomorrow since I have the day off and if they are cheap get one, and if not hit up the pull-a-part since I need a rear-view mirror and a few interior trim pieces too.

I'm wondering what's gonna happen when I try to fit these tires in. they look massive. I hope the clear alright. I might need spacers.

What kind of tires are on your xj?

Are you going to try to fit them on without trimming at all?
I think those rims will look awesome when painted black with the red lip and add a nice personal touch to the XJ!

It has 33" BFG Mud-Terrians TA KOs

Well if you decide to go 31's don't forget about me. altho I think I'm gonna look for some 31/32 inch bfg a/t's for dding.

And I am gonna trim haha I'll have too. But I'll also have to replace the rear springs first. I just hope they don't rub on the control arms or anything else.

Haha I don't think I am going down to 31s after seeing these
With some trimming they should fit, just don't turn too hard!
Also what backspacing are those rims compared to stock?
