Default Silver Lake Prep question

m not sure this is the right spot.. this is also my first post here on cherokeefourms.com

i own a 2000 Cherokee sport... its all stock except for a trans cooler...
and some all terrains...

im planing on going to silver lake with my dad.. he drives a first gen Liberty also compleatly stock with all terrains..
i have been told that we will do fine with our 4wd capability

what can me and my dad do to prepare our trucks for the sand dunes?
im just throwing out ideas here but i checked my entire drive train for leaks and can find none.. all bearings are in good condition and grease fittings are good.. all diffs and transfercase have fresh oil, along with the motor..
i have minimal oil residue on the oil pan but i plan on blasting that off before i go on the trip.. i can not think of anything else that i might need to prep before the trip. im not too worried about beating the truck up.. i have taken it to local spots and beaten the hell out of it and it just screams for more.

my dads jeep is in perfect condition.. no oil residue and fresh everything... his benifit is he has a limited slip diff in the rear installed from factory.

any other ideas are greatly appreciated..

again if this is the wrong spot for my post i sincerly apologise

thanks
Dragon

Along with the airing down make sure you have shovels and straps so that if you get stuck then you will have a way to get yourselves out.

Good luck and post pics when you are done

Air Down is your best thing.
When you crest a hill if it feels as if your "Nosing Down" gas it, that will help you from going head over heals..
