Northeast side of Indy. Who wants a little side money fixing my Xj?
I just don't have time to get this thing done between work. I just finished, after 2 weeks in the garage, the passenger side u joint, the sway bar bushings, changing the oil, and changing the diff fluid. Upon reassembly today I found the driver side u joint has play in it, I stripped the stupid caliper bolts (both of them) on the passenger side with almost no force at all, mistakenly returned the rented 1 1/4" socket that I needed to replace the pinion seal, and finally noticed the rear brake hard line is corroded very badly and needs replace. So... Anyone want to tackle this? Shoot me a price.
Recap: 1. Pinion seal 2. Rear hard line 3. Driver u joint 4. Helicoil passenger brake bolts in hub. Did this yesterday Pretty easy stuff but again, I just don't have time without this thing sitting in my garage for another couple of weeks as I chip away at it in 30 minute increments. And a shop would charge way too much more than its worth. Oh and this Jeep is pretty much rust free aside from the brake line, so everything comes apart very easily. |
